Our Gowns
Bridal Gown Studio features over 500 beautiful high-class wedding dresses in a variety of styles and silhouettes. We offer Brides designer gowns ranging from elegant and classic to contemporary and chic. Our selection includes wedding dresses from talented boutique designers and our designers private labels produced by some of the highest regarded dressmakers around the world. A place where the latest bridal trends and the highest quality gowns without an extravagant cost is a passion.
Brides have their own personal stylist to provide the best customer service and shopping experience. Each Bride is provided informative dress options to find what she loves for one of the biggest fashion days of her life, her wedding day.
Our Bridal Gowns prices range from $800 to $2,800. Custom and One-of-a-Kind dresses range from $2000 to $4000. Many new Off the Rack gowns at convenient prices are also available.
Alterations and Fittings
Our team will ensure each and every bride finds the dress she loves and that is delivered with a perfect fit. All of our bridal gowns include in-house alterations with our master seamstress. Here is where the dress is adjusted in all those subtle areas to look flawless on her. It is our philosophy and practice that a bridal gown is only complete once it fits the bride perfectly.
Any gown at Bridal Gown Studio can be modified or changed to accommodate your wishes in fabrications or style. This means things such as gown color, neckline, and sleeves are not limited to the samples in the store. These options are available to the Bride to suit her personal style.
Our custom wedding dress design and production capability offer brides virtually every option of style and detail. An opportunity to work extensively with fashion designer and master seamstress and our dressmakers to craft the one of a kind dream dress.
As a courtesy for finding your dress, the fittings and alterations process can be done here if you choose and start at approximately $500. We offer this service only to our Brides and the dress they fell in love with.
The Studio
Enjoy class and charm of the fashion design house and dress atelier. With a lovely showroom and large full size fitting and alteration rooms the bride will be looking and feeling her best. Located in the heart of Lake Eola Heights, in Orlando’s downtown historic district.
Time and Delivery
The time frame for ordering your bridal gown is 6 to 12 months to ensure proper time for delivery and fittings.
Once the Bride selects the specialty wedding dress she loves, a full set of the bride’s measurements is taken. When the dress arrives, the Bride is scheduled for two fittings and the perfect fitting dress is delivered.
In addition, several as new sample dresses are available for off-the rack purchase.
We also offer "rush order" service in the event you require your gown quickly.
Meet the Designer
In 1990 after graduating high school and being accepted to Ecole Lesage Fashion Design School in Paris, Sonthai Gi chose to stay with family locally and utilize a scholarship to attend The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles. After graduating in 1995, Sonthai worked for evening wear designers and costumes film makers in Hollywood, CA. In the following years as designer for several bridal houses including his favorite Vera Wang, it was time for Sonthai to venture out on his own.
In 2003 Sonthai opened his own Bridal and evening-wear salon in Los Angeles, CA to work directly with the Brides and the gown he loves. He then said “Bridal Gowns are going to be the rest of my life”. In 2009 Sonthai moved with his partner to San Jose to expand the Bridal Gown business he loves to Northern California. After many years and a lifelong devotion to fashion, Sonthai serves brides all over California and Florida.
To bring the unique experience of custom bridal couture to the Southeast, Bridal Gown Studio’s Orlando location was established to help brides with a beautiful dress.
His work is known for bridal designs that are simple yet elegant, romantic, classic, as well as glamorous and sexy with a high-class style. His most well known "signature" design features include exquisite bead work and embroidery and french lace and Italian silk.
His Bridal designs have appeared in publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, Wedding Dress Magazine, Instyle Wedding, Inside Weddings, The Knot, and Elegant Bride.
